Beacon Federal Credit Union was chartered as DuPont La Porte Federal Credit Union in March of 1949. The credit unions' goal is to create "Success through Service" by providing courteous, efficient, and sound financial services for its members. In 2005, we were granted a community charter and officially changed our name to Beacon Federal Credit Union in order to better reflect our varied membership base. The name "Beacon" underscores our commitment to look out for our members' financial well-being now, and in the future.

The credit union currently has three locations. The main office is at 2901 Sens Road La Porte, TX and a branch office at 2812 N. Alexander Road Baytown, TX. Both offices are full service, not for profit, financial institutions offering ATM's, safe deposit boxes, loan officers on-site, member service personnel, tellers, and efficient, courteous service that sets us apart from other financial institutions. In 2006, we made Beacon FCU even more convenient by adding a new store front location in the Miramar Plaza in SeaBrook, TX.
